For best results with your XAS clutch installation, Spinlock recommends using model T38 deck organisers to lead lines aft to the clutch.
Yes. The XAS has a modular design intended to be easy to upgrade and maintain, which supports servicing with kits and spares.
XAS0408 models are rated to an SWL of 450 kg (990 lbs). Verify your application matches this rating before service or replacement.
Yes. XAS units can be side-mounted; a fairing kit is available to fit the clutch to either side of a spar or coaming.
Standard XAS0612 models are specified to handle loads up to 575 kg (1270 lbs) at maximum line diameter.
The XAS small-diameter range covered is 4–8 mm lines. Use the kit with XAS0408 models for 4–8 mm rope sizes.
A regular XAS0612 may be converted for small diameters by fitting the specified base module referenced for 0408 sizes.
