The Fish DownSea Tuna Flare Lure – Ghost is ideal for skirting dead baits such as ballyhoo on the troll. It is a “Sea Witch” style lure. Easily pass up to 220 fluorocarbon leader through the center hole. This lure is ideal for tuna, mahi, marlin, and wahoo species. This lure also features eyes that are epoxied into the head. It’s a lightweight skirt and this allows it to have a skip and swim action that species such as tuna can’t resist. It’s made in the USA.
Best when rigged with 80-130 fluorocarbon leader with a 7/0-9/0 hook (preferably Mustad 7691) and a 1/2-1.5 ounce chin weight for the ballyhoo (preferably medium to horse size ballyhoo depending on what size tuna you are targeting).
